MeltingInvariably variable:  forced smiles and laughter emanate  as a line forms and you,  sure as you might be,  collapse and shatter  like icicles on concrete, and  a dispersion of sound  finds its way down  into your throat,  as you gasp for air.  A fire unfolds  around you,  Behold  the truth, the pain,  whispering shame  succumb to the flame,  and all that is left is you, my dear,  refined and shining,  bright and clear. Free to DanceShadowing my heart,  the whispers that fail to leave my lips  fall instead into pieces,  cluttering my mind,  deafening my ears.  These simple words, so  delicately forgotten,  but never fully erased,  always leave a trace:  Will you notice?
